The database currently contains over 7,500 works by more than 900 authors from different periods, the oldest from 1930. It is intended for research into literacy, education, pedagogy and cultural development, and also serves as a historical document reflecting Lithuanian schools under conditions of freedom and occupation. The database has been compiled since 2014 and is continuously supplemented with new written work. The project is carried out by the Sociolinguistics Department of the Institute of the Lithuanian Language." ;
