The Residents’ Investment Project Selection Information System (GIPAIS) was created to support cooperation and communication between the city municipality and Klaipėda city residents. Using this system, residents submit ideas and initiatives to improve public infrastructure in Klaipėda and take part in voting to select the most attractive initiatives. Initiatives submitted by residents can be viewed on the website https://dalyvauk.klaipeda.lt/. With GIPAIS, the city municipality can systematize, manage and analyse data on initiatives proposed by residents.
