| Description | The dataset contains 1997–2005 data from the Computerised Bank of Language Consultations compiled by the Institute of the Lithuanian Language (LKI). The dataset consists of two tables: the first contains questions submitted by the public about correct Lithuanian language usage and answers from Institute of the Lithuanian Language staff; the second contains links between the key words of submitted questions and other words. It is important to note that the Institute of the Lithuanian Language's Computerised Bank of Language Consultations is no longer being updated and was transferred in 2005 to the State Commission of the Lithuanian Language (VLKK). The main current source of language consultations in Lithuania is therefore VLKK. Because language advice is continuously updated, some answers in the Language Consultation Bank created by LKI may no longer be relevant and may differ from the answers in the VLKK Language Consultation Bank. |
