| Description | The dataset contains results from elder elections organized by Kaunas City Municipality since 2023 in 56 neighbourhood elder areas. Elder elections take place every four years and are organized by the Kaunas City Municipality elder election commission according to procedures prepared by the administration director. An elder is a community representative working on a voluntary basis. Candidates are nominated by residents of the elder area and active community organizations. Adult residents of the elder area who have the right to elect the municipal council may vote, either at the premises of the eldership or online over three election days. For this reason, election results are shown by election day and candidate. The dataset also includes information related to the candidate, such as the candidacy date, nominating party, and a candidate identifier obtained by encrypting the name and surname.
