Description The dataset consists of information on ATA carnets and their export, import, re-export, re-import and transit counterfoils corresponding to detachable vouchers processed at customs offices. An ATA carnet is an international standardised customs document that entitles the holder to temporarily import goods (e.g. exhibits for fairs and exhibitions, commercial samples or professional equipment) without paying import duties and taxes. It replaces a customs declaration and certifies that goods carried under it are covered by an international guarantee and that, if the ATA procedure is not properly completed, the applicable import duties and taxes will be paid.
